How does it work?

AT&T Refer-A-Friend is an online-only program that allows AT&T customers to earn up to $575 a year for referring new and existing customers to AT&T's great services. Each successful referral will result in both the Referrer, the existing AT&T customer who makes the referral, and the Referee, the new customer who is referred to AT&T through the program, earning a $25 AT&T Promotion Card.

Participating Services include:

  • AT&T High Speed Internet
  • AT&T U-verse (voice, Internet or TV)
  • Digital Life
  • Postpaid Wireless
  • Wireline Home Phone service

Referees can be either new customers to AT&T or existing AT&T customers, who:

  • Are not already members of the Refer-A-Friend program AND
  • Are subscribing to at least one of the qualifying services (e.g. AT&T High Speed Internet; AT&T U-verse [voice, Internet or TV]; Digital Life; Wireline Home Phone service; and Postpaid Wireless) AND
  • Are referred for and become new customers of at least one other qualifying service.

Existing AT&T customers can earn rewards only once for each type of service.  For example, an existing AT&T U-verse customer, who is referred for and purchases Digital Life, would be eligible for a reward for the Digital Life purchase.  However, an existing U-verse High Speed Internet customer, who is referred for and purchases U-verse TV service, would not qualify for a reward because they were an existing U-verse customer.

Referees, who have been a member of the Refer-A-Friend program for at least 30 days, and Referrers cannot earn additional rewards for being referred.

AT&T Promotion Cards can be used to buy AT&T products and to pay AT&T service bills.

 

How do I participate?

To participate, you must have Internet access and your own e-mail address.

Referrer (the person making the referral):

  1. HAVE QUALIFYING SERVICE
    Subscribe to at least one qualifying AT&T service. Qualifying AT&T services include: AT&T High Speed Internet; AT&T U-verse (voice, Internet or TV); Digital Life; Wireline Home Phone service; Postpaid Wireless (on a $9.99/mo. or higher rate plan). 
  2. REGISTER
    Register for Refer-A-Friend within 7 days of the Referee's purchase / activation of their first qualifying AT&T service.  Please add “no-reply@referrals.att.com” to your address book to ensure our e-mails reach your inbox.
  3. REFER
    Refer your friends, family, and networks to AT&T using one of the methods available to members on the program website. 

Referee (The person referred through the program):

  1. PURCHASE QUALIFYING SERVICES
    Purchase new, qualifying AT&T services. Qualifying services include: AT&T High Speed Internet; AT&T
    U-verse (voice, Internet or TV); Digital Life (on a $39.99/mo. or higher rate plan); Wireline Home Phone service; Postpaid Wireless (on a $39.99/mo. or higher rate plan).
  2. REGISTER
    Register for Refer-A-Friend within 14 days of purchasing your first qualifying AT&T service. 
  3. EARN
    Buy as many qualifying services as possible within 30 days of your first purchase/activate to be eligible to earn the maximum number of rewards. 
Eligibility

Employees of AT&T, its affiliated companies, and its Agents, their subagents, and other distributors of AT&T service are not eligible to participate in the Program.
